I used food grade DE for the control of ants and it did a great job! no more ants after just 2 days...

Of course I reapply if it rains and then no ants for a few months.

I always keep a 50 lbs. bag on hand in the garage. This way if I see moths or cutworms or the Japanese beetle or any bug that is not garden friendly and helpful I sprinkle DE all around and it controls them as well.

Any crawling insect looking to eat my veggies or fruit has to crawl over the DE and it is effective - The last crawl...
